Conservative European Forum has launched an inquiry into the future of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement asking witnesses for evidence and recommendations.
Richard Whitman answered questions regarding Foreign and Defence Cooperation. The questions included: how the war in Ukraine impacted UK-EU cooperation (e.g. within the Permanent Structured Cooperation and more broadly), how the EU and the UK could cooperate within the European Defence Agency and Common Security and Defence Policy, as well as how they can expand cooperation within the Trade and Cooperation Agreement.
The inquiry is now published as an open-access report: "Building on the Trade and Cooperation Agreement: How the UK and the EU can cooperate better for economic growth and political stability."
